Heat Mitigation Plan
The hotter temperatures are still here! We want to ensure our students stay safe and comfortable. To mitigate the effects of the heat, we have implemented a comprehensive heat mitigation plan. During lunch, students will eat indoors in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) to stay cool. Additionally, Physical Education (PE) classes will be held indoors, and we’re limiting outdoor activities to minimize exposure to high temperatures.
We closely monitor the heat index using the National Weather Service’s heat index chart to guide our safety protocols and avoid heat-related illnesses. Your child's well-being is our top priority, and we are committed to providing a safe and conducive learning environment.
